Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) is one of the fastest growing technology fields, and we are looking for a key individual with both technical and business skills to effectively lead and manage our operations team.

Tele-Data Solutions, a strategic VoIP solutions and cloud technology leader is looking to hire a Service Manager for our Union, New Jersey location.  The responsibilities of a Service Manager include running: day-to-day operations, escalations and service delivery teams.  This role is a member of our Key Executive Group and Leadership Training teams. This role requires a person with a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality to delve into the details of the business. Additionally, you will optimize internal workflow challenges, develop processes and procedures with an eye for continuous improvement and efficiency by analyzing intuition, KPI’s and experience.

This key role requires a talented, well-rounded, process-oriented, people-leader and a communicative, compassionate yet driven Change Agent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Run the day-to-day service operations.
  • Establish KPIs.
  • Continue to implement and support our management system.
  • Design, implement and execute service delivery processes and procedures, as well as create strategies to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Oversee the project management process from planning to implementation to completion.
  • Direct the purchase of COGS and CPE, and maintain inventory at optimum levels to successfully support customers.
  • Prepare and manage PO and inventory budgets.
  • Work with sales & operations team members to develop and adhere to customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee the management of the company’s fleet including Network Car Reports for accountability.
  • Ensure the successful recruitment, training, and management of employees in the development of a high-performance, motivated workforce.


  • BA/BS
  • 7+ years of experience managing operations and leading people in an B2B service environment (e.g., VoIP solutions, outsourced IT, telecommunications, alarm/video services). 
  • Additional technology, telecommunications, PMO, industry-based certifications and/or training are a plus


Compensation and Benefits

$90,000 to $110,000; Health and dental, PTO, 401K, Profit Sharing, Bonus Plan
